Hi! I’m Stephanie.

Animal lover, event planner, and mom to this sweet lil guy, Mumford and his baby brother Benson.

With a full heart, my mission is to help you live out your dream wedding by involving your best fur friend in your special day!

The idea for Wags & Garland came to me during my own wedding planning in 2010. My husband and I wanted to include our pup in our special day, but we could not find a stress-free way to make that happen and we did not want to inconvenience our friends or family members.

It was clear to me that a wedding day pet care service was needed to assist couples in similar circumstances and it was my goal to one day to fulfill this need within the wedding industry.

 
 

After 20 years in special events and corporate social responsibility for the NBA and MLB, I decided to take a leap from the sports industry to the wedding industry and do what I love most - having clients that are tail waggin' happy to see me! With my deep affection for animals, coupled with my event planning background and passion for the wedding industry, I knew I could create a professional and personalized experience for both human and furry clients.

Most importantly, I am trained in Pet First Aid & CPR and Canine Safety & Handling. I am registered, licensed, and insured and I promise to love your fur babies as much as my own.

Hi, I’m Mumford!

What I love most about my mom is how patient and kind she is with me, my brother Benson, and all the dogs she cares for.

Mom says I can be leash reactive and guard things - she’s not wrong, I love my personal space. Because of my gremlin tendencies, mom has joined me at my training classes and private lessons over the past two years to help with my confidence and engagement.

She now has a vast understanding of canine behavior and body language, has learned valuable relationship centered, reward based training techniques, as well as force free strategies for managing and handling dogs like myself.

Whether your pup is a leash gremlin who needs a little extra love like me or the boring, loving, and sweet kind like my annoying brother Benson (j/k), my mom can help incorporate your dog into your wedding day and they can have the best day ever too. Trust me, she’s the best!
